dtsmartr provides powerful column filtering tools, from
quick checkboxes to complex logical query rules.
1. Column Quick Filters
Click the filter funnel icon inside any column header to open the column quick-filter panel: - Categorical & Low Cardinality Columns: Columns with 20 or fewer unique values show a checklist. Search values dynamically, check the categories you want, and click Apply (or press Enter) to filter. - Continuous / Numeric Columns: Shows a text search input box. Type your filter query and press Enter to instantly filter matching values.
2. Advanced Filter Side-Panel Drawer
Click the Advanced Filter funnel button in the toolbar (or press
Ctrl + Alt + F) to slide open the Advanced Query Builder
drawer on the right side of the screen: - Rule Groups:
Create nested logical conditions using AND or
OR connector groups. - Rules: Set
complex column rules (operators like equals,
contains, in, greater than,
is null, etc.). - Live Preview
Highlighting: As you edit rules in the sidebar, matching rows
are immediately highlighted in yellow in the table
behind it, providing real-time visual feedback before you commit the
query. - Live Count: Shows the matching row count in
real-time. - Click Apply Query to filter, or click the
refresh/clear button to reset.
